We have been active and on the go since we left the UK nearly three weeks ago and I think we're all feeling a little weary. Pavia has given us the chance to re-charge the batteries, catch up on some wifi and some rest and see a completely different type of Italian countryside.
For starters, this region is completely flat, not a hill in sight. Plus we're surrounded by rice paddies! Makes it seem a bit like Japan!
Our accommodation was perfect for the kids, it had space to run, but best of all it had these...
And this place was a bit of a surprise for dinner. We went on the recommendation of the hotel owner and thought we were turning up at the local pizzeria. Instead we found this place - a cross between the Hellenic Club and the Palazzo Versace on the Gold Coast!
