A tribute

On January 13 this year I lost my beautiful Grandma.  She was a very special part of my life and I feel so privileged to have had nearly 30 years of her fun-loving company.  We had a wonderful Christmas together and the casual snaps I took have become precious last memories.  I miss you terribly Grandma.

And I've been cooking.  Spaghetti last night, curry and chicken casserole tonight.  I am back in love with my slow cooker. 

Daniel is off at his first sleep-over party.  He was also invited last year, but didn't do the over-night bit, which didn't matter too much as the party girl was asleep on the couch by the time I picked him up at 8:00pm! 

Both he and Jem are taking after their Mumma and are running in their zone cross-country finals on Monday. :)

House for rent

On Friday 11 May 2012 our house was advertised for rental. Prior to that it was tidied, cleaned and photographed. And, not wanting to fork out $180 on a professional photographer, coupled with a strong (but modest) belief in ones own photographic capabilities, plus the loan of a friend's whiz bang camera complete with wide angle lens, I photographed the house.
