Our accommodation in Kurashiki was teensy (20m2). See piccie of us squished in below. It was also opposite a factory outlet centre and shopping mall, so we spent a few hours investigating this morning. There was a cat cafe and a huge pet shop with a selection of weird looking cats and puppies. See puppy piccie below. AND with all the yummy food around Danny P succumbed to Maccas. Shame....
And then it was back on the Shinkansen to Hiroshima. 36 minutes to travel 160kms! Saw some cute little kiddies at a pokemon store just outside the station....
And then, in excruciating heat, made our way to our accommodation.....
which looks like this and is actually double the size of the one in Kurashiki. Luxury, although for some reason there were 2 massive doonas on each bed. Shoved the heaviest of the two in the cupboard...
After an afternoon rest (the heat is really taking it out of us) we ventured out again. Hiroshima is lovely and our accommodation is in a good spot AND we have a 7-Eleven about 15 metres from the front door. Heaven!!
And during our wanderings we came across this gorgeous cafe where Em and I had mojitos, Danny P a lemon sorbet hi-ball and Steve a glass of Italian Sav Blanc!! Heaven....

And it was Daniel's turn to pick dinner - CoCo Curry. Yummo!
