Now - being a bit of an organising freak and of course seeking the best value (aka cheapest) airfares I (retrospectively quite unwisely) selected Philippine Airlines for our journey. And with this salubrious airfare came a slightly convoluted journey to Japan (aka overnighter in Manilla).
So - our trip began Monday with a 3hr drive to Timmy's followed by a very nice Vietnamese dinner, followed by a chauffeur-driven, navigationally challenged trip to the airport. Tight lipped and silent for a good 15 minutes 😝🤣😧😝. Called Tim a poo poo head and he called me a shocking navigator. Angst released - all good. But seriously - thanks Timotei - it was scenic 😀
Clearing customs, checking in, scooting around the airport was all blah blah blah. Flight was long and a bit blah. Think I've turned into a massive plane snob - too accustomed to business class after my last trip. Sniff, sniff. Watched the movie Maria - Angelina Jolie is just fabulous.
