On a cold, foggy Monday morning on June 4 Daniel raced around a 1km track at the ACT cross-country championship at Mt Stromlo and came 2nd for his age group!!
His little legs were pumping and he was nearly pipped at the post, but he managed to hang in there and out of about 60 nippers in the race there he was - Number 2 across the line. He was pretty blase about the whole event, meanwhile me, Steve, Emily, Jeremy and even Grandad were on the sideline, screeching, jumping up and down in fits of excitement and generally showing off.
Go speedy Daniel - we are very proud of you!
