Our last day in this wonderful place and we started
in style. A walk to the shopping centre for breakfast – spring
rolls, strawberry shake, juice pops, coffee, shan tung soup and a weird pork
rice thing - followed by a ride in a very decrepit taxi to the Strand Hotel.
We then took a ferry across the Yangon River with a
gorgeous little boy called Lucky. His
English was excellent and despite being only 10 years old he was an
accomplished tour guide. It was hot,
rainy, crowded and a total contrast to the other side of the river.

Then Indian curry for lunch, a quick swim at the
Australia Club and bit of packing and then off to the airport for our flights
to Bangkok and then on to London.
