Bel, Andy and Maisey

On Saturday we had Steve's cousin Andy, his wife Bel and their gorgeous baby Maisey over for a visit.  The weather was glorious and we took a stroll to Lake Meadow for a picnic and some obligatory squirrel feeding.  And then for dinner we went to the Duke's Head, which is officially now my favourite pub.

Not only does the Duke's Head have a stunning beer garden outside but the chairs in the restaurant inside are covered in sheepskin!  Very nice and toasty!  After a tiny bit of menu choice anxiety I ordered fish pie and I think it was the pick of the night.  And as I munched out I thought how much my Dad would love it!

Once the kids were in bed Andy and Bel introduced me to Words with Friends, an online scrabble game.  I am now officially addicted and am rapidly learning new words with whacko spellings, including two new ones using a Q without a U.

Bel and Andy - it was lovely to see you guys and to meet the beautiful Miss Maisey.  Come again any time J
