516 miles of glorious Scotland, starting in Edinburgh and taking in Loch Ness (Steve has promised he'll jump in!), Loch Lomond and the Isle of Skye. We're off tomorrow and indulging ourselves by flying up. I am so looking forward to Edinburgh, seeing the family I nannied for so long ago and showing this most beautiful city to Steve and the kiddies.
Ooh! Scotland is definitely on my list. Dad's family comes from Skye - little place called Waternish, north of Dunvegan, and a bit further west from where you're going. But Uig and Loch Snizort also come up in the family history, and they look like they're on your way :)
